Every single day, more squash is ready to pick. If I'm not out there harvesting every 24 hours, a zucchini protests by ballooning to the size of a football. Two rows produce two full crates every morning without fail.

I never knew what food abundance felt like until this farm project. Most of my NYC and tech career was driven by scarcity. Scarcity of space and money in the city, scarcity of time, people, and compute at work.

On the farm, it’s the exact opposite. Just 10 zucchini plants create crates and crates and crates of food. And I haven’t even experienced the tomatoes yet. As I've already said to most of the people I've talked to about this experience, growing food is the most transformative thing I've done in a long time.
